Jack Brabham was the first (and still the only) man in the history of the sport to win the world championship driving his own car – a record which will probably never be surpassed.  This is another nice little 43rd scale figure from Scalelink with a good facial likeness to the man himself.  I used Vallejo acrylics all round – the helmet is painted using a layer of brass over gold and I gave him the Goodyear stripes of yellow and blue on the legs to add a bit of extra detail and interest.   I’m still working on the little Cooper in the background (which he drove to his first of three championships in 1959) by adding some extra detail and I’ll post up more progress on this shortly, Cheers for now,
