More (later) on those flat figures I mentioned in the last post – when was that I hear you say – lets not go there. Anyway, I discovered that my problem with posting up progress here is down to two things;

I mean, it’s an excellent model by Minichamps, but for my own liking, I’d like to see some aspects of the car highlighted. This is another Porsche GT2 Evo by GT-Spirit in 1/18 scale. A sealed resin body with superb detail, and a sublime paint finish. Something I never seem to have the time to do, sorry, I should rephrase that; Something I never seem to make time for is, reviewing my diecast collection!. Over the last couple of years I have been ferreting away diecasts of my favorite cars with the intention of making a proper display case for them in fact, that’s the real problem! Many of the most beautiful model cars I have are still in their original packaging and carefully stored in a dark press, away from any preying eyes or little sticky fingers! I eventually got finishing the figure of Akira Nakai San. I went for the orange tint in the hair department and from a photo (which I now can’t find too much stuff!!) I gave him a pair of combats. I left his sneakers well worn – from all the crawling around he does underneath the cars (making sure his creations look as good under the skin as they do outside)!
