……..the other way round!?  These two are recasts of modified Denizen figures depicting two of the key characters from the Jordan F1 team; “EJ” himself and”Jordan” (aka; Katie Price) which I’ve painted up in their famous (and in my opinion the nicest) yellow B&H livery. Continue reading “First there was “EJ” and then came “Jordan” or was it………”
An Immense discovery!

I thought I was pretty much up to date on all the F1 character figures currently available until I came across Immense Miniatures; a great name and stunning figures. Continue reading “An Immense discovery!”

Casadio (Revival) Alfa Romeo P3 1/20 scale

I bought this Casadio Alfa Romeo (P3) 1/20 scale metal kit on Ebay recently. Some partial assembly has been done by the previous owner and judging by the poor finish, I would say it was done by someone who had little or no experience at model building – hence I got it at a good price. A “Classic” postcard from Silverstone 2013!

On a recent trip to Belfast city I took a spin out towards Bangor to visit the Ulster Folk and Transport museum. Continue reading “Ulster Transport museum – Bangor Northern Ireland”
Vulcan XH558 takes to the sky at Cosford Airshow 2013
I managed to knock two other items off my very lengthy “bucket list” in the last couple of weeks with a vist to the Cosford Airshow last week-end (Sun’ 9th June) to get my very first look at the last flying Avro Vulcan – XH558. This time it’s a 1/18th resin figure from Racing Dioramics of the late great Mark Donohue. Continue reading “Another great American racer in 1/18th.”

I modified an original Scalelink figure of Mike Hawthorn and recast it in metal to produce this figure of the 1958 World Champion. Continue reading “Mike Hawthorn in 1/43rd scale”
