JIM CLARK – F1 DENIZEN MINIATURE

Once again I just used some Miliput to add the nomex scarf/face mask and I painted hime up in his “White” suit (as opposed to his earlier “Blue” version.  “Wiki”  links below for more details. James “Jim” (or “Jimmy”) Clark, Jr. OBE (4 March 1936 – 7 April 1968) was a British Formula One racing driver from Scotland. FANGIO – F1 DENIZEN MINIATURES

A really superb figure of Fangio from Denizen – painted in Acrylics and Oils, I’ve tried to represent him “engaged in Battle” as it were, with the oil, dirt and grime of the race track in evidence on his face and clothing. “Wiki” links below providing more details: Juan Manuel Fangio (June 24, 1911 – July 17, 1995), nicknamed El Chueco (“knock-kneed”) or El Maestro (“The Master”), was a racing car driver from Argentina, who dominated the first decade of Formula One racing. He won five Formula One World Driver’s Championships — a record which stood for 46 years until eventually … Continue reading FANGIO – F1 DENIZEN MINIATURES

JACKIE STEWART – F1 DENIZEN MINIATURES

Another great figure from Denizen of Jackie Stewart – no modifications needed here – the “Beatles” cap, sunglasses and long hair style say it all and a reasonable paint job helps set it off – all logos hand painted. “Wiki” links provides more details below: Sir John Young Stewart, OBE[2] (born 11 June 1939), better known as Jackie Stewart, and nicknamed The Flying Scot, is a Scottish former racing driver and team owner. He competed in Formula One between 1965 and 1973, winning three World Drivers’ Championships. He also competed in Can-Am. GRAHAM HILL – F1 DENIZEN FIGURE

I’ve done slight modifications to this figure using a small bit of Miliput to create the nomex scarf around the chin neck area (which I think is so reminicent of many of the Graham Hill images). “Wiki” links below give more details; Norman Graham Hill (15 February 1929 – 29 November 1975) was a British racing driver and two-time Formula One World Champion. He was born in Hampstead, London. Graham Hill is the only driver to win the so-called Triple Crown of Motorsport and, with his son Damon, is part of the only father and son pair both to have … Continue reading GRAHAM HILL – F1 DENIZEN FIGURE
